Waxoyl is a professional wax-based 5–8 year system designed for new vehicles. Woolwax is a solvent-free, lanolin-based 2–3 year option for older vehicles, existing rust or customers wanting clean multi-year protection. Both systems are EV and hybrid safe when professionally applied. We recommend the system based on vehicle condition and use.

Yes. Woolwax is best for older vehicles with existing rust. It adheres to existing rust and provides underbody and hidden-cavity protection, with no cure time required and no annual application required. Wheels and wheel-well liner removal is optional for improved access. Woolwax cannot reverse damage or repair structural rust; serious corrosion needs repair before protection.

No. Waxoyl is a 5–8 year protection system rather than an annual oil spray. Areas exposed to repairs, collision work or unusually heavy abrasion should be checked so damaged protection can be addressed.

Waxoyl requires a 12-hour cure time and leaves a clean, no-drip finish. Wheels and wheel-well liners are removed for maximum access, with underbody panels removed as required. Existing access points are used for clear hidden-cavity protection. No drip. No mess. One application.

Yes. Both systems are EV and hybrid safe when professionally applied. Waxoyl will not damage seals, plastics, wiring or rubber components. Woolwax is solvent-free, lanolin-based and non-conductive, making it safe for electrical connections. We apply each product carefully around batteries, sensors and service points.

Pricing depends on the vehicle’s age, exposure, condition, colour and the preparation required. Newer vehicles often need less cleaning, decontamination, rust preparation or paint correction, while older vehicles—and dark paint that reveals more defects—can require considerably more work. You’re paying for the preparation as well as the product, so we price each vehicle by its actual condition, not simply its year, make and model. Better prep means better protection and a better finished product.

Yes. Precision Ceramics builds programs for contractor trucks, cargo vans, work trailers, municipal vehicles, trade and service vehicles, and commercial fleets across Grey & Bruce and the surrounding region. Waxoyl or Woolwax rust prevention is recommended based on each vehicle’s age, existing condition, use and expected ownership, with paint correction, polishing and Feynlab ceramic protection available where appropriate.

Paint correction uses measured machine polishing and, when appropriate, wet sanding to remove or reduce swirls, wash marks, oxidation and scratches. Results depend on defect depth and available clear coat; deep damage may only be safely reduced.

Polishing is a lighter enhancement for paint that is dull, hazy or lightly marked. Paint correction is a more intensive service that targets deeper defects and may require multiple stages. We inspect the paint and recommend only the correction level it needs.

New doesn’t always mean perfect. Every vehicle—including brand-new—is professionally polished before ceramic coating to refine and enhance the paint surface. Additional correction is completed only where the condition requires it.

Feynlab Ceramic provides durable gloss, hydrophobic performance, chemical resistance and easier maintenance. Every vehicle is professionally polished before application to refine and enhance the paint. Precision Ceramics offers 3-year and 5-year packages; ceramic does not prevent stone chips or make paint scratch-proof.
