So you’ve protected your vehicle’s paint, but what about your rims? Our Precision Rim Protect service is specially designed to add the superior protection of our Vehicle Protect service to your vehicle’s rims. As the closest part of the vehicle to the ground, rims see their share of stones, dirt, water and other elements. That’s why it’s important they receive the same treatment as your vehicle’s paint.
How It Works
Like the rest of our protective coatings, every Rim Protect project begins with an extensive decontamination to remove any dirt or grime that could potentially hinder the effectiveness of the ceramic coating. This process starts by spraying down each rim with a fallout remover followed by a strong degreaser if needed and then a deep scrubbing to ensure any remaining particles are removed. Once clean, we proceed with applying the ceramic coating to each rim to protect them from corrosion, salt, grime and harsh chemicals. To ensure an optimal bonding, we allow each rim to cure indoors at 70 degrees for a minimum of 12 hours— the same process used to maximize the hardness, water repellency and environmental protection of our Vehicle Protect service.
