2019 VW Atlas with 89000 km’s. This vehicle had a pile of stone chips touched up. Two coats, and individually sanded, polished on the hood and front fenders. Two stage polish, heavy cut finished with a fine cut. The vehicle is white so a little more forgiving eliminating the medium cut, saving the owner some money.
- Decontamination wash – This service includes the full exterior, door jambs, exhaust, wheels, and wheel wells.
- Iron fallout scrub – Covered in rusty looking iron specs on the white surface. A standard wash will not remove these bonded contaminants. A combination of chemicals are key for safe removal.
- Clay block – Clay the paint surface to level out and remove any remaining impurities.
- Two coats of touch up paint on several stone chips, sanded and polished (see pics)
- Paint correction- Heavy cut polish finished with a fine cut to enhance the shine.
- Alcohol panel wipe – This final wipe is to remove all remaining residues ensuring the paint is at its cleanest state prior to coating.
- Gtechniq 5 year ceramic application
- Supra Clear Armor windshield and glass coating added to strengthen, repel water and reduce glare.
- Rim decontamination & degreaser to remove all chemicals and environmental contaminants.
- Vehicle walk around and final inspection.
- Cure time indoors for 12 hours.
