2022 BMW M3 in a fantastic Frozen White Matte finish. This was a mobile job for me, as I drove to the customers home in the Collingwood Ontario area to complete. A little different process here, because other than the roof and the gloss black trim pieces around the car, there is no polishing. You don’t polish matte paint unless you want to add shine, which defeats the purpose of the matte finish. Decontamination wash, matte cleanser chemical in lieu of clay blocking, alcohol wash, finished with a matte ceramic. Glass treatment and rim protection was also completed. I’m really excited about the finished product.
- Paint Correction Process
- Decontamination wash – This service includes the full exterior, door jambs, exhaust, wheels, and wheel wells.
- Matte Cleanser – This is in lieu of clay blocking. Removes stubborn contaminants without changing the appearance of matte paint finishes.
- Cut and polish – Fine cut polish on the roof and black gloss trim pieces only.
- Alcohol panel wipe – This final wipe is to remove all remaining residues ensuring the surface is at its cleanest state prior to coating.
- Gtechniq 5 year Matte Paint safe ceramic application
- Supra Clear Armor windshield and glass coating – added to strengthen, repel water and reduce glare.
- Tire decontamination – Strip, scrub and finish with a sharp, crisp, black matte that wont brown the tire.
- Rim Protection – Rims decontaminated, coated in ceramic
- Tinted Plate Covers – Ceramic coated tinted licence plate covers added
- Vehicle walk around and final inspection
- Cure time indoors for 12 hours.
