2022 Volkswagen Atlas with only 2600 km’s. The owner lives on a gravel road and a heavily treed lot. Between stone chip repair, sap and brake dust removal, this car has seen its fair share of paint correction at a young age. There is a also a good snap shot of curb rash (before and after) under the passenger side front bumper that I was able to sand and polish back to new. Even though the photos were taken on a cold dreary day, this Atlas has a new shine that can brighten any day!
- Decontamination wash – This service includes the full exterior, door jambs, exhaust, wheels, and wheel wells.
- Clay block – Brake dust on the white paint surface ( see pictures ) Clay block the surface to remove, and level out any remaining impurities.
- Chip repair – Two coats of factory paint applied, sanded and polished. Curb rash sanded and polished.
- Sap removal – The roof and hood was covered in a sticky corrosive tree sap that required safe removal.
- Paint correction- Fine cut polish to enhance the shine.
- Alcohol panel wipe – This final wipe is to remove all remaining residues ensuring the paint is at its cleanest state prior to coating.
- Gtechniq 5 year ceramic application
- Rim decontamination & degreaser to remove all chemicals and environmental contaminants.
- Rim ceramic applied
- Vehicle walk around and final inspection.
- Cure time indoors for 12 hours.
